Review of our tourists
It was fantastic. The balance between trekking and having a look was achieved. The final itinerary was a good balance. Each section of Kazakhstan was unique, our local guides great, so knowledgeable and made sure our trip was fantastic. All guides were punctual, where a guide was due to be that’s where they were. The drivers were very courteous and safe and good travelling companions. The train travel great, the people so friendly. it was amazing the conversations we had with locals without any common language. The family photos and a couple of kangaroo pictures broke the ice. A storm which meant we couldn’t camp overnight caused us to sleep in pilgrims hostel at one of the underground mosques. What an amazing experience, actually on of the highlights. Tajikistan was also great, so incredibly beautiful and again the people lovely. Great guide and driver for the trip. Overall the accommodation was excellent, the standard differed in each location to match the location. The only criticism was we had too much food, so well fed. Bedankt voor je bericht. Onze vakantie was super! Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van de prachtige natuur, erg gastvrije mensen en de rust. De reis is allemaal goed gegaan en hebben mooie herinneringen en foto’s gemaakt. De mensen zijn zeer vriendelijk en iedereen was bereid ons te helpen! De communicatie en begeleiding vanuit Akzhol travel was goed! Doordat de weg naar de Kolsai lake was afgesloten door rotblokken heeft Akzhol travel er voor gezorgd dat wij eerder naar de volgende bestemming konden (kosteloos). Daarnaast was het Kazzhol hotel in Almaty erg goed (we kregen zelfs een upgrade naar een mooie kamer met balkon). De gids Eric in Jabagly heeft ons goed rond geleid en nam ruim de tijd voor ons. De auto was erg fijn om in te rijden en er zijn dan ook geen problemen geweest. Er was alleen geen navigatie aanwezig maar dat is opgelost door Maps.me app en ze hadden een router voor de zekerheid meegegeven als het niet zou werken. Dus prima oplossing! Complimenten aan het gastgezin in Saty. Super vriendelijke mensen. Verder was zoals eerder genoemd een super mooie vakantie! En wij raden dan ook iedereen in onze omgeving aan (als je van reizen houdt) hier heen te gaan.
